Terms of Service
Cyanotype Bouquet Service:
By purchasing this service, you (“the Client”) agree to the following Terms of Service set by the Artist, Katharine T. Jacobs.
1. Service Description
This listing is for a custom, made-to-order cyanotype created using pressed flowers provided by the Client. Each artwork is handmade and unique. Variations in tone, color, and composition are inherent to the cyanotype process and are not considered flaws. This is aN Organic process and some minor staining may occur from plant matter and the Cyanotype Chemical Process.
2. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of purchase to reserve a commission slot. Deposits and partial payments are not accepted. Orders will not be scheduled or started without full payment.
3. Flower Preparation
All flowers must be fully pressed and completely dried prior to shipping Following the Press Instructions. Flowers must be pressed using an 11 × 15 inch flower press purchased by the customer.
Unpressed or improperly Preserved flowers will not be accepted and may result in order cancellation without refund. Details on How and What to Press Are available here.
Larger presses allow for longer stems and greater compositional flexibility in the final artwork. If you Send Flowers in a Smaller Press it may Limit or compromise the Composition of the final artwork. I Suggest Ordering the Print Press linked above or one of similar size and quality.
4. Shipping
The Client is responsible for all shipping costs when sending flowers to the Artist. Flowers must be shipped Iin the Press promptly within 24 hours of your event.
Flower presses will be returned only if a prepaid return shipping label is included with the shipment. Flowers will not be returned
Shipping the finished artwork back to the Client is included in the purchase price.
5. Material Condition
The Artist is not responsible for damage caused by shipping delays, improper packing, mold, brittleness, or natural degradation of plant material. Final results depend on the condition of materials received.
6. Artistic Discretion
All artistic decisions, including layout, exposure, and final composition, are made at the Artist’s discretion. the Artist retains creative control over the final artwork.
7. Timeline
Production timelines vary depending on the Artist’s schedule and the condition of materials upon arrival. All timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
8. Refunds and Cancellations
Due to the custom nature of this service, all sales are final. No refunds, returns, or exchanges will be issued once payment is made.
9. Copyright
The Artist retains full copyright to the artwork, Videos of the process and reproduction Prints. The Client may not reproduce the image for commercial use without written permission.
