The Walters Cultural Arts Center invites the community to explore identity and experience through the gallery opening of “Cycles” on Tuesday, Feb. 6, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Coming to the Hillsboro art center at 527 E. Main St., “Cycles” delves into the intricate tapestry of life through the different experiences of those living with multiple sclerosis (MS).

Featured artists Stephanie Anderson, Lindsey Holcomb and Katharine Jacobs offer unique, vicarious perspectives through a range of media, showcasing growth and reflection in their respective projects.

Lindsey Holcomb incorporates elements of her Japanese heritage into her art, and Stephanie Anderson uses realistic oil painting to celebrate LGBTQ+ identity. Katharine Jacobs, employing photography, cyanotype, and sculpture, addresses the physical struggles and realities of living with chronic illness.
